BRUCE, Dr. Norman Murdock, a Representative from Cambria and Somerset Counties; born, November 5, 1788 in Deer Park, Allegany County, Md.; physician; elected as an Anti-Mason to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1832-1833 term; died, November 8, 1860 in Mount Pleasant, Henry County, Iowa; interred, Mount Pleasant Old City Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, Henry County, Iowa.
