HENDRICKS, Jameson A., a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, 1788 in Ligonier, Westmoreland County, Pa.; private, Pennsylvania Militia (War of 1812); engaged, real estate; justice of the peace, Fairfield Township (1823); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1825); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1827-1828 session; delegate, Democratic State Convention (1830); merchant; engaged, lumber manufacturing (1833-1835); salt manufacturer (1838); died, May 22, 1872 in Versailles, Ripley County, Indiana; interred, Versailles Cemetery, Versailles, Ripley County, Indiana.
