REYNOLDS, William E., a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, circa 1781; captain, Pennsylvania Milita (1812-1814, War of 1812); farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1836-1837, 1837-1838 and 1838-1839 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1839-1840 term; died, February 10, 1852 in Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Middle Presbyterian Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
