FARREL (FARRELL), George, a Representative from Westmoreland County; elected, Democratic State Convention (1823); elected as a Volunteer Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1824-1825 and 1825-1826 term; reelected to the House as a Democrat for the 1826-1827, 1828-1829 and 1832-1833 terms; president, Pennsylvania Board of Canal Commissioners (1833); contractor, Pennsylvania Canal.
