CHRISTIE, Andrew, a Representative from Allegheny and Butler Counties; born, 1770 in Derry, Westmoreland County, Pa.; corporal, Company F, 134th Infantry, Pennsylvania Milita (War of 1812); farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1815-1816, 1816-1817 and 1817-1818 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1818-1819 term; died, June 5, 1855 in Butler County, Pennsylvania; interred, Concord Cemetery, Hooker, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
