WALKER, James, a Representative from Franklin County; born, January 18, 1786 in Peters Township, Franklin County, Pa.; elected, commissioner, Franklin County (1822-1824); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1824-1825, 1825-1826, and 1826-1827 terms; died, June 5, 1838 in Peters Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Spring Grove Cemetery, Lemasters, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
