BARD, Thomas, a Representative from Franklin County; born, April 2, 1769 in Franklin County, Pa.; captain, Pennsylvania Militia (1814, War of 1812); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1832-1833 term; resigned from the House prior to Swearing-In, December 1, 1832; died, July 9, 1845 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Church Hill Graveyard, Mercersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
