WALKER, John, a Representative from Allegheny County; ship builder; proprietor, Monongahela Farmer, schooner (1800); proprietor, Ann Jane, brig (1803); elected as an Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1831-1832 term; reelected to the House as a Whig for the 1835-1836 and 1837-1838 terms; proprietor, Wilkins House, restaurant and inn; interred, Walker Cemetery (now Elizabeth Cemetery), Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
