PATTERSON, James, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, 1768 in Campbell County, Va..; colonel, 2nd Brigade, Pennsylvania Militia (1814, War of 1812); farmer; tax collector (1814-1825); justice of the peace, Mifflin Township; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1829-1830 term; died, January 6, 1847; interred, Lebanon Church Cemetery, West Mifflin Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
