HULTZ, James, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, circa 1787 in Allegheny County, Pa.; captain, Pennsylvania Militia; farmer; land surveyor; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1831); elected as an Anti-Mason to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1832-1833 term; appointed, Speaker pro tempore (1832-1833); died, May 12, 1833 in Saint Clair Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Old Mount Lebanon Graveyard (now, Saint Clair Cemetery), Saint Clair Township (now, Mount Lebanon), Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
