GOLDSMITH, Dr. Thomas Oliver, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, August 6, 1807 in Kensington, Philadelphia County, Pa.; M.D., Jefferson Medical College, 1829; physician; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1837-1838 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1838-1839 term; elected, coroner, Philadelphia (1851-1854); died, February 17, 1880 in Ashland, Camden County, New Jersey; interred, Evergreen Cemetery, Camden, Camden County, New Jersey.
