SCUDDER, Daniel, a Representative from Northumberland County; born, New Jersey; served, Milton Guards, Northumberland County Militia; studied law, Samuel Hepburn; lawyer (1817-1829); elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1821-1822 term; reelected to the House for the 1824-1825, 1825-1826, 1826-1827 and 1827-1828 terms; deputy attorney general, Northumberland County (1828-1829); died, 1829 in Milton, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Old Presbyterian Churchyard, Milton, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania (defuct).
