WHITLATCH, Eli Barnet, a Representative from Greene County; born, March 16, 1794 in Greene County, Pa.; farmer; Baptist minister; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1826-1827, 1827-1828, 1828-1829 and 1830-1831 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1829-1830 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1831-1832 term; engaged, coal industry; died, October 4, 1867 in Franklin Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania; interred, Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Lippincott, Greene County, Pennsylvania.
