ARMSTRONG, Gibson C., a Representative from Lancaster County; born in Cherry Point Marine Air Station, NC, 1967; graduated, Lampeter-Strasburg High School, 1985; attended, Millersville University of Pennsylvania; B.S., political science, United States Naval Academy, 1991; diploma, Command and Staff College of the United States Naval War College; captain, United States Marine Corps (9 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election July 16, 2002 to serve the remaining 2001 term; Sworn-In, July 30, 2002 and reelected to the 2003 and 2005 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 2007 term; director, government relations, BlueStar Energy Services; appointed, board of directors, Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority.
