OVERFIELD, Nicholas, a Representative from Luzerne County; born, 1787 in Pennsylvania; farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1831-1832 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House; elected, associate judge, Wyoming County (1851-1856); died, February 5, 1859 in Scottsville, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania; interred, Overfield Cemetery, Meshoppen, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania.
