RAMSEY, Robert, a Representative from Bucks County; born, February 15, 1780 in Warminster Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania; farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1825-1826, 1826-1827 and 1827-1828 terms; reelected to the House for the 1829-1830 and 1831-1832 terms; elected, United States Congress (1833-1835, 1841-1843); died, December 12, 1849 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Neshaminy-Warwick Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Hartsville, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
