HART, John, a Representative from Bucks County; born, April 9, 1787 in Warminster Township, Bucks County, Pa.; served, rifleman, Capt. Purdy’s Company, Pennsylvania Militia (1814, War of 1812); colonel, Pennsylvania Militia; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1832-1833 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House; died, June 18, 1840 in Warminster Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Old School Baptist Meeting House Cemetery, Southampton, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
