Chuck Schumer; assistant chief of staff, legislation and policy, Office of the Mayor, Pittsburgh; director of workforce strategies, InnovatePGH; member, Urban Redevelopment Authority, Pittsburgh; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election on September 19, 2023; Sworn-In, October 2, 2023 to serve the remaining 2023 term; reelected to the House for the 2025 term; appointed, Deputy Whip (2025-present).
