STENDER, Michael A. K., Jr., a Representative from Montour and Northumberland Counties; graduated, Shikellamy High School, 2002; B.A., Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania), 2009; graduated, Career Fire Academy, Harrisburg Area Community College; emergency medical technician, Harrisburg Bureau of Fire; legislative director, Pennsylvania Professional Firefighters Association (5 years); elected, school board, Shikellamy school district; firefighter, Harrisburg (10 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election on May 16, 2023; Sworn-In, June 5, 2023 to serve the remaining 2023 term.
