McANDREW, Joseph Melvin, a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, circa 1990; graduated, Fox Chapel Area High School, 2008; B.A., political science, University of Dayton, 2012; unsuccessful campaign, mayor, Oakmont (2007); research analyst, Office of Demographics, Democratic Caucus, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (2012-2014); sales, Sparq Design; proprietor, Onpoint Operations & Consulting; executive director, Allegheny County Democratic Committee (2021); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election on February 7, 2023; Sworn-In February 21, 2023 and is currently serving his first term.
