BULLOCK, Joseph, a Clerk from Philadelphia County; born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; physician; merchant; city warden, Philadelphia (1784); Assistant Clerk, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1796-1797); elected, Chief Clerk, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (January 12, 1797-November 5, 1800); elected, Chief Clerk, Pennsylvania Senate (December 9, 1800-December, 1801); treasurer, Germantown and Perkiomen Turnpike Road Company (1813-1814); died, January 25, 1821 in Germantown (now Philadelphia), Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
