GARVIN, Thomas Henry, a Representative from Delaware County, born, October 23, 1857 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; engaged in real estate and insurance businesses; general manager, Sharon Hill Real Estate Company; elected, burgess, Sharon Hill (1891-1892, 1923-1925); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1892, 1894, 1896, and 1898; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1900); elected, Chief Clerk, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (January 23, 1901-April 18, 1925); died, April 18, 1925 in Sharon Hill, Delaware County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Moriah Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
