YOUNG, Regina G., a Representative from Philadelphia County; graduated, James Hillhouse High School; B.A., communications, Central Connecticut State University; M.A., community development, Eastern University; honorary doctorate of divinity, Hearts Bible Institute University; social service worker, Women’s Christian Alliance; founder and executive director, Empowered Community Development Corporation; community schools coordinator, Office of Education, Philadelphia; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 2021, 2023 and 2025 terms; appointed, Deputy Whip (2025-present).
