BROWN, Amen R., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; graduated, Overbrook High School; employed, University of Pennsylvania Sayre Beacon Community School; owner and operator, daycare center, Philadelphia; founder, Overbrook Beacon Community Empowerment Center; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 190th District for the 2021 term; appointed, Select Committee on Restoring Law and Order (2022); reelected to the House to serve the 10th District for the 2023 and 2025 terms.
