(1842-1849); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as an American for the 1855 and 1856 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1857 term; died, April 12, 1888 in Limestone, Clarion County, Pennsylvania; interred, Seceder Presbyterian Cemetery, Mechanicsville, Clarion County, Pennsylvania.
