CLOVER, Philip, Jr., a Representative from Armstrong, Clarion and Jefferson Counties; born, June 6, 1795 in Hunterdon County, NJ; farmer; blacksmith; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Strattonville, Pa. (1842-1849); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as an American for the 1855 and 1856 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1857 term; died, April 12, 1888 in Limestone, Clarion County, Pennsylvania; interred, Seceder Presbyterian Cemetery, Mechanicsville, Clarion County, Pennsylvania.
