MOORE, Isaac Walker, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, June of 1817 in Charlestown, Chester County, Pa.; attended, Dickinson College, 1835-1837; graduated, University of Pennsylvania, 1839; surveyor, Northern Liberties and Richmond, Philadelphia County; landscape designer; elected as a Democratic to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1853 and 1854 terms; unsuccessful campaign, surveyor general of Pennsylvania (1856); transcribing clerk, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1856); died, December 26, 1857 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Monument Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; removed to Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
