Caliguiri, city of Pittsburgh (1982-1984); chair, 19th Ward Democratic Committee; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1988; served 5 more consecutive terms (1989-2000); resigned from the House, June 15, 2000; died, August 7, 2011 in West Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida.
