REEL, Frederick, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, circa 1804 in Pennsylvania; cordwainer and shoe store owner (1838); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1847, 1848); elected, school director, Kensington (now Philadelphia) (1848); elected as a Nativist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1852 term; alderman, Philadelphia (1852-1858); engaged, real estate; died, December 6, 1865 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, American Mechanics Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania (defunct); removed to Philadelphia Memorial Park, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
