DALY, Thomas, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, circa 1809 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; regulator and surveyor, Philadelphia County (1843-1860); vice president, Philadelphia Democratic Committee; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1846, 1847, and 1848 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1849 term; elected, surveyor, 1st district, Philadelphia (1860-1866); died, May 11, 1866 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Philanthropic Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania (defunct); removed to Arlington Cemetery, Upper Darby, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
