FORSYTH, Thomas H., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, 1800; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1845 and 1846; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1848-1852); elected, Canal Commissioner (1854-1856); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the Senate (1859); officer, United States Customs House, Philadelphia (1859); assessor, Internal Revenue (1867); died, 1879; interred, Mount Peace Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
