CROUSILLAT, Lewis, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, 1789 in Philadelphia County, Pa.; elect, Democratic State Convention (1838); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1841 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1842 term; unsuccessful campaign, United States Congress (1843); appointed, board of controllers, Passyunk and Kingsessing (now Philadelphia), Philadelphia County (1845); died, December 28, 1848 in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Ronaldson Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania (defunct); removed to Forest Hills Cemetery, Huntington Valley, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
