TRAVAGLIO, Guy A., a Representative from Butler County; born in Ambridge, Beaver County, Pa., July 24, 1926; graduated, Butler High School, 1945; attended, Slippery Rock State Teachers College (now Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania), 1948-1949; attended, Butler Business School, 1950-1952; served, United States Army (1945-1946, World War II); general manager and sales manager, WISR Radio; part-owner, Mr. Q’s Record Shop (1958-1962); part-owner, car wash (1967-1976); part-owner, Record Rack (1968-1970); radio host, Guy Travaglio’s Phone Party; elected, council, Butler (1966-1970); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1994; reelected to 4 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (2004); died, September 7, 2019 in Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Michael Cemetery, Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
