HALL, John, a Representative from Juniata and Union Counties; born, April 21, 1783 in Wales; lieutenant, Capt. John Donaldson’s Company, Pennsylvania Militia (1812-1814, War of 1812); dry goods and liquor merchant; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1844 and 1845 terms; elected, school director, Penn Township, Snyder County (1851); died, October 15, 1856 in Selinsgrove, Snyder County, Pennsylvania; interred, Reformed Graveyard, Selinsgrove, Snyder County, Pennsylvania.
