CHANDLER, Charles, a Representative from Susquehanna County; elected, coroner, Susquehanna County (1824-1827); elected, sheriff, Susquehanna County (1827-1830); justice of the peace; tavern owner; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1838-1839 term; reelected to the House for the 1840 term; died while in office, April 23, 1840 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
