BONNER, Timothy R., a Representative from Butler and Mercer Counties; graduated, Penn Hills High School, 1968; B.A., magna cum laude, political science, Westminster College, 1972; J.D., The Law School, University of Notre Dame, 1975; attorney; Assistant District Attorney, Mercer County; solicitor, Grove City, Slippery Rock, Sandy Lake and Mercer County; chair, Pennsylvania Supreme Court Disciplinary Hearing Committee; instructor, law and government, Grove City College; partner, McNickle & Bonner; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives 8th District in a Special Election on March 17, 2020 to serve the remaining 2019 term; Sworn-In, April 6, 2020; reelected to the House to serve the 2021 term; appointed, Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing (2022-present); reelected to the House to serve the 17th District for the 2023 and 2025 terms.
