TRACH (TROCH), Joseph, a Representative from Monroe and Northampton Counties; born, October 20, 1796 in Hamilton Township, Monroe County, Pa.; farmer; drover; hotel proprietor; elected, commissioner, Monroe County (1836-1839); elected, treasurer, Monroe County (1836-1839); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1841 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1842 term; died, April 4, 1873 in Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Zion Cemetery, Sciota, Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
