KILGORE, John Jack, a Representative from Mercer, Venango and Warren Counties; born, September 20, 1796 in Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pa.; owner, grist mill; farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1853 and 1854 terms; elected, commissioner, Venango County (1848-1851); vice-president, Emlenton Union Agricultural Society; died, November 25, 1883 in Irwin Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Irwin Cemetery, Barkeyville, Venango County, Pennsylvania.
