WALTON, John C., a Representative from Lancaster County; born, July 5, 1809 in Pennsylvania; carpenter; proprietor, tavern and inn; elected as Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1852 and 1853 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1854 term; coal merchant; died, June 16, 1868 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Sadsbury Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
