NISSLEY, Jacob, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, January 1, 1808 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; farmer; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1849 and 1850; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1851); unsuccessful campaign, commissioner, Lancaster County (1855); died, March 8, 1862 in Mount Joy, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Kraybill Mennonite Cemetery, Mount Joy, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
