STUBBS, Dr. Jeremiah Brown, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, April 13, 1804 in Lancaster County, Pa.; M.D., Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical School), 1827; physician; farmer; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1847 and 1848; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1849); died, July 10, 1862 in Fulton Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Penn Hill Burial Ground, Penn Hill, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
