WADE, Andrew, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, March 12, 1796 in Lancaster County, Pa.; lawyer; elected, delegate, Democratic Anti-Masonic County Convention (1833); commissioner, Portsmouth and Lancaster Railroad Company (1834); elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to serve the 1850 term; elected, auditor, Elizabethtown (1853); died, September 17, 1863 in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Peter Roman Catholic Cemetery, Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
