FOREMAN, Jacob, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, March 24, 1802 in Pennsylvania; lumber and building material merchant; justice of the peace, Conoy Township, Pa.; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1840, 1841 and 1842; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1843); boat maker; died, December 4, 1863 in Conoy Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Bainbridge Cemetery, Bainbridge, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
