HENDERSON, James G., a Representative from Lancaster County; born, January 9, 1801 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; farmer; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1839; director, Lancaster County Mutual Insurance Company (1844); elected, auditor, Lancaster County (1845); elected, delegate, Whig County Convention (1848); died, November 2, 1855 in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Sadsbury Friends Burial Ground, Christiana, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
