SIDLE, Jacob Koontz, a Representative from York County; born, March 31, 1821 in Dillsburg, York County, Pa.; attended, York County Academy; manager, general store, Dillsburg (1841-1849); proprietor, mercantile business. Dillsburg (1850-1857); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1854 term; banker, Sidle, Wolford & Co., Minneapolis (1857-1862); president, First National Bank of Minneapolis (1863-1888); engaged, Minnesota Linseed Oil Company; partner, Sidle-Fletcher-Holmes Milling Company; died, January 25, 1888 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota; interred, Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
