STEWARD, David, a Representative from Perry County; born, December 12, 1793; farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1849, 1850, and 1851; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1852); chair, Perry County Democratic Committee (1854); died, July 22, 1864 in Liverpool, Perry County, Pennsylvania; interred, Liverpool Union Cemetery, Liverpool, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
