ANDERSON, William Blain, a Representative from Perry County; born, 1811; farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to serve the 1838-1839, 1840 and 1841 terms; unsuccessful campaign, commissioner, Perry County (1840); elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1845-1846); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Treasurer; died, June 2, 1858 in Madison Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania; interred, Toboyne Presbyterian Churchyard, Blain, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
