ROSEBERRY, John Washington, a Representative from Schuylkill County; born, July of 1817 in Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, Pa.; graduated, Orwigsburg Academy; lawyer; elected as Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1849 term, not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1850 term; director, Pennsylvania National Bank; president, Mountain City Banking; president, Pottsville Spike Bolt Works; president, Kanawha Coal and Lumber Company; died, April 3, 1893 in Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania; interred, Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
