HEEBNER, Abraham, a Representative from Schuylkill County; born, December 31, 1797 in Montgomery County, Pa.; proprietor, Heebner’s Colliery; engaged, railroad construction; owner, Heebner’s Mill, saw mill; grocery and dry goods merchant; elected as an Independent Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1843 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1844 term; died, February 13, 1868 in Port Carbon, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania; interred, Port Carbon Presbyterian Cemetery, Port Carbon, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
