JACKSON, Dr. Nathan Hale, a Representative from Luzerne County; born, December 8, 1804 in New London County, Ct.; attended, Marlins Academy; physician; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1846); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1847); died, December 18, 1881 in Scott, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania; interred, Wetherby Cemetery, Scott Township, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.
