WATSON, Thomas, a Representative from Washington County; born, April of 1789 in Franklin, Venango County, Pa.; farmer; elected, auditor, Washington County (1841); proprietor, dry goods and grocery store; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1848 and 1850 terms; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1851, 1854); elected, delegate, Democratic State Convention (1852); died, July 14, 1859 in Canonsburg, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
